Awesome job man! Gotta love some muzzleloader slammage. He's sure got long main beams and good mass. That's a great way to break in a new boomstick.

That stings a little, you got me! ...I had to do some digging but I found the movie I made that supports your side of our highly publicized debate. However, I think we all know I was referring to does and dinks. In Virginia, bucks like these only come along once in a lifetime...but fortunately for me ive killed several once in a lifetime bucks.

Cordy..you'd be proud. I'm actually taking a kid turkey hunting next Wednesday. His dad is recovering from an injury and will be in recovery for a good while. His dad also is not a hunter but his boy loves it and rarely gets an invite. He has never harvested anything and his heart's desire is to take a turkey! I'm hoping to get this young man his first hunting success EVER! I will have him using a shotgun so it should be a piece of cake!

P Smash, I examined your last post.....no spelling errors for once....well actually I'm letting the "gonna" slip by this time!!

Thanks for cutting me some slack, I type like I talk, so "gonna" is a proper word in my language
Here are some other translations:
Gimme= give me
Feller= fellow
holler= hollow
Killage= the act of killing
Smokin= hot
Gotta= got to OR have to
Slammage= a bullet passing through something
Kinda= kind of OR sort of

If its gonna be a piece of cake, id call it killing instead of hunting. ...and just some good mentor advice; if this kid loves hunting like you say he does, he better not have a coke in his hand when he comes out da house...if he does, leave him crying in the driveway and go kill his bird.
