I don't see why it would, pretty much operates on the same principle as drawing the bow does.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not
me, I want people to know "why" I look this way. I've
traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

I've used one many times on all my bows that require a press. I use the split limb adapters and it works real well. Just don't forget to put the draw stops back in before you draw the bow!

You don't really have to remove the draw stops do you, say on a GT500?

If you use the split limb adapters, yes, you have to remove the draw stops. I also remove the string stopper, as the cable hits it. I use the split limb adapters because, otherwise the cable hits my rest and Anchor sight.

What kind of rest are you using? Do you think I would be able to use a Bowmaster without the split limb adapters on a GT500 with a QAD rest? I don't want to have to remove the draw stops to use.

Anybody try the portable press sold on AT by rockscout? It looks like it would work good if there isn't a clearance issue between the cam and limb.

Geez, I missed the part about the cable hitting the string stopper the first time around. Sounds like the bowmaster might be a PITA to use on these bows!

Makes sense. It also seems like it would be easier to have the press bolt out away from the strings instead of trying to tighten it between the cables and string.

I have had to use one on my GT500 and all I did was wrap a cloth around the string stopper, no problems. it barely grazed the string stopper and the cloth kept it from getting scratched.
