This is all I have to show for a week spent in IL, that and the memories. Unfortunately, the memories are of not seeing a single shooter buck all week?? That's how it goes sometimes, I guess. Last year was my year and this looks to be my payback year.....

Way to go Mark! It is tough hunting in IL right now. Some are saying the rut is over. No longer seeing bucks chasing does etc. I'll see how shot gun season goes this weekend.

I live in IL and have hunted for 11 straight days and haven't had a shooter come by yet. Closest yote was too far to shoot, dang it... wish I could get one.
