    Default Weight of colored 452X????

Has anyone experienced slower speeds from brightly colored strings?? My brother in-law swears up and down that the dyes used for the colors vary in specific weight. He says that Red is the heaviest and a solid red string will out weigh a white string any day. I am curious if he has any clue what he is talking about. If he is right how much are we talking in grains.. That would be added weight on the string..... Would anyone be able to weigh equal lengths of either color and post a finding????

Yes some colors are heavier than others. Not sure which is what though. Kevin touched on it in another post somewhere about this." I think Gen section"

Kevin stated that Bright colors-pink,red,orange, and yellow take a lot of dye and are heavier. 2-7fps slower. He also said that the speckeled strings are a bit slower as well.

When string material along is made....it starts out white... So then Dye is added to create the colors...
