Default Why did you choose a z28?

Why did you choose to go with a z28 rather than a GT500?

For me, I like the versatility of the smaller axel to axel, and lets face it, Im not always the best shot so the 8" brace height helps me out too.

The GT500 seems to be the popular pick, so Im wanting to find out what made yall Z owners defy the odds and choose the greatest bow ever built, the z28?

Nagster.. I actually bought my GT500 first and then bought the Z28... And personally. I'm glad I did... the Z28 was abit less forgiving, but the valley was so much better when it came to holding on the shot... So I use my Z28 for hunting and the Gt500 gets the 3/D tasks and backup role..,, Both are awsome bows and each have their own places....

Perfect hunting bow for me. Great speed with a big brace height. Down right sexy too!

The Z is a spittin image of the 06 E-Force...which was my all time favorite bow...until I bought the Z.

Shorter axle to axle as compared to the GT500...

Sounds like I am going to have to make a road trip to a dealer to shoot them side by side. One thing for sure, in the spring I will be giving Wes a call for a Cuda equipped XLR.

If the Z-28 would have been 34" ATA, I would have it over my GT500. Great shooting bow, just a little too short for me.
