    Default Which Rest For Z28?

I want a drop away rest primarily for hunting for my new Z28. Which do you prefer on your Z28?
I have owned two Ripcords on other bows and like them but I like the concept of the QAD.

I have the QAD Ultra Pro.
Seems to be working very well...

I had a Ripcord and a QAD at the same time, I sold the ripcord. I like that you can let down and redraw without resetting the QAD.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not
me, I want people to know "why" I look this way. I've
traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

I have traditionally used Ripcords, but, switched over to the QAD pro's on the GT500 and my Z28. I find them to be both reliable, but, I tend to lean towards QAD. From a hunting perspective, the moleskin on the rest and on the bar above the rest keeps it extremely quite and designed to fit from the factory. I had to create makeshift pads for the ripcord. I also like that the QAD and a thumb trigger to lock the rest up and to take it down quite easily. Lastly, if you are hunting, the concept of both is great in holding the arrow on the rest and not worrying about it falling out when posted, drawing or walking. The stationary bar on the QAD stays in place quite well, while the bar on the Ripcord seems to need tightening every few weeks.

I have a Z with a QAD and it was tuned in under 30 minutes out to 50 yards. Seemed to work well for me.

    Another QAD recommendation.

I have a LimbSaver 7" S-Coil. Works great for hunting being short and simple. For 3D shooting, B-Stinger.

I use a Sims modular with only two modules on 3 bows and a 4" Doinker on my GTO for hunting.
