    Default World Class Archery Match

    Dietmer Trilluss of Canada wins. I would love to see this kind of coverage here in the states.

    I enjoyed these very much, thanks for posting.
    Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not
    me, I want people to know "why" I look this way. I've
    traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

    What distance were they shooting?

    Trilluss shoots a finger-release while Hofer shoots a BT.

    Thanks for the great vids!

    when your exposed to some of the worlds best on a regular basis you don't realize how lucky you are. Deitmar was in Manitoba for some warm up matches, just before the championships with Kevin Tataryn and the rest of the Interlake archery club. Unfortunately for me I had to work that weekend and wasn't able to attend. between Kevin and Deitmar they broke at least five world records and set a new Canadian record of 1414 for senior mens(of the three events they shot this was the only event that wasn't a fita star). Interlake archery has three members that have shot at least one 1400 and two that have shot more than one 1400. Kevin, Rich Vogt and Ed Wilson are all about improving archer and are more than willing to help anyone who asks;

    One thing that db is right on about is coverage for archery in north america verses the rest of the world. The North American orgs need to work together, to figure out which set of rules that every one is going to follow. Im Canadian so I vote for the Fita regs. This in my eye's would bring two large advantages to the table, first an Internationaly accepted set of rules and regs in which the archers them selves control not the large corporate giants which manipulate the rules for thier larger profits(For the record Elite does not fall in to this catogary). and second the possibility of inclusion on the world cup circuit, using a series with an established international recognition would go along ways to establishing decent coverage because they already have a minum standard of coverage which would be considerd acceptable. imho
