    Default New to Elite!

I guess I have officially joined the "Elite".

I have been reading a lot on the Elite forum for a while now- a lot of useful info. After reading all of the great reviews on the Z28, I finally bought one sight unseen and without shooting one first. I have owned other top brands and I currenlty have a parker blackhawk which I really like. But, after shooting the Z the parker is now for sale.

That Z is one smooth, nice shooting bow- the best I have every shot. I am glad I made the decision.

    Couple of questions:
    1) Has anyone had accuracy problems from the string suppressor? I did at first but put a small gap between string and suppressor which helped a lot but still don't think I shoot as well with out it. It does make a lot of difference in string noise.
    2) Which is the better stabilizer for sound and shock deadening (not that there is a lot to deaden), sims s-coil or doinker multi-rod?

    Thanks

    Welcome d-bar....

I've had no issues with the string stopper at all. Works fine for me.

Re: stabilizers, I just purchased a B-stinger and love it. It's the best stab I've ever used, bar none. It keeps the bow on target with no floating around the target.

    to the Elite family.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not
me, I want people to know "why" I look this way. I've
traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

Welcome to Elite. I put a 10" Posten with a QD. That took all of the "jump" out of my shot. The s coil was not enough stabilizer for me. The longer stab seems to work best. My shot groups improved greatly with the Posten. I'm sure other stabs like B-stinger are great as well.
