    Default Z28 Tuning?

Not a do it yourselfer and don't pretend to be. However, as long as I have been shooting a bow I wished I knew more or maybe payed closer attention to all of the past bows owned and them being setup. Anyway, I am wondering if anyone, Z28 owners, is experiencing high nock placement on their bow. The pro shop I am using is not an Elite dealer and has the nock set higher than any other I have ever owned. He said it had to be set that way in order to paper tune and get a decent result. I don't know. I initially started out with the QAD and switched out to the g5 Expert II today. There again a real high nock point and just a satisfactory result on paper. Taking it to an Elite dealer tomorrow to see what may be able to be done. Kristen with Elite said that they were not aware of this issue and may be an isolated case due to lack of knowledge about the Elite bows from the pro shop I am using. Input appreciated.

I wouldn't say it yours was the first isolated bow that had that same issue... Mine actually tunes out better as a single cam bow then it did a duel cam binary... As you can see when my burger hole is centered and my rest is fully up, My nocking point is actually set at 1/4" high and that's the way it likes it when tuning... Best I could get with the QAD HD I had and tunes broadheads perfectly with super stiff 26" Maxima 350's and 100 grn SlickTricks . My setup is 55lbs 28" draw Z28... Thats' rather stiff if you ask me...And the nocking point is the only way it will tune.. Seems odd to me as well,,,

Check your cam timing. If your top cam is firing before you bottom cam it will give you a nock high tear.Make sure you shoot with your odd color vane up on your drop away.
