    Default cam lean

I never owned a binary cam bow. All my bows in the last 10 years where single cams. When I talk to others around my area they tell me that the binary system is inherent to cams leaning. Is this true?

What has been done to correct this if anything? Has Elite done anything different than Bowtech to eliminate cam lean?

    Thanks,
    E

Most bows have cam lean. the only one's that have minimal or none is a shoot through cable system. cam lean is not necessarily a bad thing. Elite has less than my other Binary style bows. any bow with a cable slide will have sideways pull on the cables and that tends to lean the cams.
No ifs and or buts Just maybee.

In the binary cam, it is pretty much impossible to eliminate cam lean. As long as the cams lean the exact same every time, and to not lean so far that they hit the limbs you will not see a problem. The Elite's have a very small amount of cam lean, but so do the Bowtechs. It is nothing to worry about though, they shoot great.
I shoot what feels the best, who will make it this year??

I agree with A-A.....as long as the lean is not excessive and is pretty much equal on both cams. Nothing to worry about, shoot and enjoy.

I agree also, I have four Elites and a Bowtech, some with more lean than others and they all shoot fine.

Is it possible for someone to post a picture of what "normal" cam lean looks like?

    Thanks for the Photo.

Am I looking at this right and is the bow at rest?? Is that normal or does the photo make it look more crooked?
