    Default Bad Deal...

    I found him tonight, hit by a car. I have his sheds from last year, and with an 18" spread, they score 165 4/8" typical. He's a 6 year old that I've watched for the last 3 years. Bad deal!!!

    O MAN! what a shame. seems a lot of the big ones get wacked by cars. hopefully there will be another one to take his place.

    Its amazing how such a smart, hard to hunt animal can be so dumb when it comes to cars.
    Thats to bad. hope you find another come hunting season.

    Bummer, we have a few problem people around where we hunt. Not too many hit by cars. One guy got busted poaching (finally), he took a 180 class 12 point. A neighbor took another 12 point, he evidently practices shoot and release. He usually shoots the deer and leaves them lay.

    There are others that will take his place in this area, but it'll be a couple years. Good thing I have a few more places to hunt!

    That is a pure shame. Hope he spread his genes so you can have some of his offspring to hunt in the future.
