    Default GTO Draw stops?

Hey guys, I have been shooting my GT500 for a month now and love it, especially the solid wall I never got from my hoyts...anyway I liked my new Elite so much that I went ahead and bought a GTO as a back up bow. But first thing I noticed was, the GTO wasn't as solid on the wall. I see that the GTO cams only have a draw stop on the top cam, can an additional draw stop be added to the bottom cam? the slot for one is already there.

Yes you can place a draw stop there, not sure if it will help though

I think the bow is out of tune.. Meaning the cams are out of sync.. The GTO has a very solid wall when setup right.. I am not saying it is not setup right but just check the cam rotation on a draw board and make sure the draw stops on the DL mods are not pushing on the cables.. If that is the case it WILL give you a spongy feel....

My GTO has an unbelieveable wall, the most solid of any bow I have ever shot.

this bow was just tuned by michael at Terminal velocity, so I would say that it is set up right. It doesn't feel spongy, It just doesn't feel quite like the GT500. as a matter of fact if I didn't have the GT500 to compare it against I would probably be fine with it.

My guess is that when Michael tuned it he tuned it for maximum speed, you may be able to adjust the draw stop a touch and get a little more let off, you may lose some speed, but what you lose in speed will be more than made up with comfort.

    Good Luck
