SOB.. I think my GT500 Stage 1 strings have gone bad!!
What kind of product is this???
I have only had them for about 20 months and have only gone about 10-15k shots and at least 8 d-loops on it. This is the bow I use for hunting, all field season, 3D's , Formals, V formations, everything other than spots.
Got my new strings for this and the XLR. THe XLR strings are still perfect but while I was ordering from Wes why not. Vegas not to far away.
SO the string looks to have no wear on the cam ends. I mean looks perfect not a serving separation or anything. I do suspect the nocking point might be getting weak??
The cables have suffered the most where they bend over that tight cam radius. The timing was off the other day more than ever. I have only ever had to do a half twist timing twice the whole time. I never had to rotate the peep until 2 weeks ago and then a half twist did it. That was the clue I needed to tell me I was a little late on ordering new ones. the serving on the cables has finally separated about as much as the factory strings did after 150 shots see my post from summer o8. This was a first week production bow.
