I used to think I knew something about bows! Now that I read through this thread I realize I know nothing.

Same here. Bought my first binary cam bow and realized I had no idea how to tune it. I called Dave several times and he is a wealth of information.

Dave, are you going to be at the ATA show? If so, I hope to meet you.

That's no necessarily all bad. You have to take stock and realize where you are and build upward from there. If you believe you are on top. Where do you build to from there? I hope I never stop learning. There's way to many interesting things to learn about and so little time.

Great post Dave, I'm starting to understand even though my mind is now suffering from information overload. I think I'm gonna run to the store and pick up another stick of ram.

Well I could have taught you how to tell time but decided to explain the clock while I was at it. Things are clearer to me when I understand the logic. Like Spock, I may have pointed ears. Yes , I will definitely be at the ATA but no autographs please.

Good post Dave, now take a break before you post on center shot.... and don't forget a whole post dedicated to spring tension.

Dave. Do you do this super tuning if a guy/girl were to send you a bow? Or is "crackers" still the best bet?

My youngest son is an attorney and I believe if I were to start doing that I would be wise to take out business liability for that purpose. I think it's a very bad idea to turn a wonderful hobby into a business. Actually this is the fourth request of this kind I have received since coming over here. I don'y want to give you fish. I want to teach YOU to fish.

I've been thinking again and for those of you who don't have the tools and/or skills to supertune you own bows I would suggest you send them to Crackers or our own Tuskbuster as I believe he can do most if not all of the things Mike does and as an extra bonus, Tuskbuster is an Elite dealer and his wife may need a new pair of shoes.
