Lithium grease works very well. The e-500's were notorious for having super tight limb bolts. My new XXl doesn't have the same problem, and it also doesn't have lock down bolts.

IMO the reason the limb bolts get so tight is they use such a course thread, 2 turns=10lbs. Most are 3-5 turns=10lbs.
It donsn't matter to me as I always shoot mine maxed.

You ever try turning the Hoyt's? You need a leverage bar to turn them. I for one would rather have this though. You don't monkey with his much and I feel secure knowing that these are not going to move unless I want them moved!
Other's move way to easy IMHO.

I do not own an Elite (YET), but I am glad to hear they put some type of loc on them and are harder to turn.

I think the problem with the Hoyts are the plastic washers.... they almost become "fused" and make the bolts very very HARD to turn.... I just got done replacing both bolts on a Hoyt for my cousin because he stripped out the bolts because they were so hard to turn.

Just to be clear here since the manual is not specific, 2 turns on EACH limb bolt will equal a total 10 lbs delta....correct?
