Ya'll have far more patience then me, first set serving separation, I got new strings on loops eaten, sent to Elite came back 20 shots starting to see serving separation. Enough is enough.

Im sure glad my first Elite purchased was not an Answer with problems. I bought a 2010 Elite last year and love it. But if my first bow was the Answer and it had problems, I would be devastated. It also may be enough to give up on the company and move on. Of course I would let Elites customer service go to work for me, but that would be the make or break for me on whether I stick with Elite and any company for that matter. I always give a company a chance to make it right. If they do, then I am loyal and stick to that company. But the second a company turns me away and does me wrong, I move on. I really think companies get it though. Customer service is the life line.

Just for the record. Have you ever bought a car and it was recalled for a faulty whatever? Remember the Toyota Gas pedals sticking. Have you ever bought a home appliance and it needed service just after you bought it? It is a fact of life because we are humans and we make mistakes. If the company that makes the product stands behind the product you win. I personally have been very pleased with Elite's customer service and will continue to use their products. I know of other bow companys that have the finish issues and limb issues. It happens. Sure, you can beat up on Elite but all in all they make some great bows.
I have never shot as well as I have until I shot the Answer. Thanks for listening.

I have had great customer service with 99% of everything I have ever bought, so I was just saying for me it comes to down to that and of course how good the product is. The 1% that was bad customer service was with a hockey company. I bought a hockey stick and it broke in half after 3 games, so I thought it was a fluke and bought another one of the same stick and it broke inside a week. Well the company didnt stand up to the warranty and refund me my money. The sticks were carbon fiber and $150 a piece. I get hockey is a rough sport and sticks break, but I have had several other carbon fiber brand hockey sticks that lasted me for well over a full year. This company just said that there were no flaws in manufacturing and they wouldnt warranty them. So I was like F U and wrote them a nasty letter and told them I would never buy another product of theres. I was pi$$ed. To have the exact same sticks do the exact same thing and break in virtually the same spot tells me they had problems. So to this day, I still havent bought any of there products and still wont. Like I said though. Just about everything I have ever purchased has had great customer service when I needed them to stand by their product.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. The Answer is a great shooter....I really like mine. I changed strings on mine because I wanted a different color. I have had no issues with burrs or any of the other issues mentioned on the forum. Hope you like your new bow and glad you are sticking with Elite!!!! I can't imagine shooting any other brand since I'm so used to their draw cycle and the way they shoot. Guess that's why I still have 9 of them

Well I have had some good ones an the Answer is good but it has issues, issues that I refuse to deal with anymore. I guess I could get custom strings for it, but how long would it take at this point in the year and what if this were my only bow and deer season is 22 days away? I wouldn't be bow hunting in September.
I sent it in and it came back with what looks to be the same issue I had with the original strings. So tell me why I have to deal with this on a new bow? I had made up my mind that if I had issues with it after it came back it was gone.
If this were my first Elite bow I might be shooting something else right now and that is a shame.
