Limb help
Grabbed a deal on a new elite, got to look the bow over and has marks on the limbs, look like press marks. I was told it was never pressed.
Safe to shoot ?

If there are no splinters, I would shoot it. It looks cosmetic to me.

Run a cotton ball over the marks, it will let you know if there are splinters or if it's just cosmetic. In my opinion it looks like it has been pressed or some vises could leave marks like those. Nothing wrong with a bow that has been pressed properly.

It looks kind of like press marks, but looks like it's just cosmetic in the powder coat. Might just be scratches from something else, but still looks strictly cosmetic.
May be from using a bow pod or bow vice that clamps the limb?
