    Default Z cam Z28 owners/guru's.

OK folks I am having trouble deciding what arrow length to use as a baseline to start tuning...I just want the length that is going to make tuning(paper, walkback, broadhead etc) a little easier...
I have a 2010 Z28 and and will shoot it at 57lb/28.5DL(with Draw stops set for max let off)-

    Victory HV1 400 spine,6in wraps,2in Rayzr feathers,Std bohning nocks and 100 grain tips/Slick Trick magnums,

Any ideas on what I should cut my arrows?(raw shaft, carbon 2 carbon)

What are fellow Z cam Z28 owners specs?
    DW,DL,Arrow spine,make,model,length,fletch etc etc?
First it's pretty tires, then it's pretty guns and bows....Next thing you know, you're shavin' your beard and wearin' capri pants

I shoot 60lb Z at 29", GT Pro 400s cut to 28" carbon to carbon
Probably the earliest flyswatters were nothing more than some sort of striking surface attached to the end of a long stick.

My Z28 tunes very easy and as long as the spine is right, an inch difference either way in arrow length makes no difference. 400's should be fine with your bow.

You would be fine with cutting them anywhere between 27.25 and 27.75

My shafts measure 28 inches. So with the nock and BH the overall length is more than 28 inches. I use 400 spine arrows with right helical blazer vanes. My DL is 28.5 and my DW is 64 currently because of my new string and cables. When things stretch and settle more, it should max out at 62lbs.
Seeing that our bows are set up identical, if you get a chance take a picture of one of your cams at full draw so I can see where your cable lines up with which dot on the cam. I want to compare it to mine.

    Thanks.
