I think the Tour has proven it can hang with the best.

I wonder if the GT-500 has actually won more tournaments? I know several fellers that shoot the heck out of that bow

Understand. Just noticed so many others Like Dave Barnsdale shooting the Tour. Was wondering how many are shooting the faster bows for IBO possiable. XLR was a hot seller when it came out. I had to have one. JUst wondering if 2013 will they bring another tournament bow into the stable. Seems not allot of tournament talk here.

I may try a 6" brace Pulse if nothing new comes out. Wanting lower poundage and speed for 3d? Shoulders are getting worse year after year. Fallin apart way to young! LOL

One of the reason Im asking here.

Just thinking maybe a Pulse to try for Hunting and Tournament for the need of speed.

The XLR I tried was a Rev cam tweaked to fit 28.5 which may have been the reason I didnt like the feel. Several shot that bow well. David Lay made the pro shoot off with that bow.

I think if Elite made more tournament type bows you would see more talk about tournaments.
Right now its more of a hunting bow being used by some for tournaments, Even though some are using them in big shoots the popularity and longer ATA large brace bows seem to be a larger demand. Shoot through risers and dual cams or single cam systems are popular. Cam 1/2 has a large following also.
Back tension is a large part of being able to control your shot for alot of people. the draw stops are hard to get use to on the dual limb stops. Binary lean is another turn off.
Even though you can shoot them accurate and win..its a mental confidence thats key. JMO!

The XLR is my favorite but I dont own a tour. For IBO the Pure worked well for me the last two years. 1st in a leg and 2nd over all and a first this year in the triple crown and 1st over all awards.
No ifs and or buts Just maybee.
