    Default Answer cable slide rod

I see a lot of guys using the bearfoot bent rod, isn't the rod on the Answer designed to do the same thing?

Actually no. Its adjustable for fletching clearance not torque reducing which helps with lateral nock travel.

Much different, the factory rod is simply a straight offset rod. The torque rod is angled at the end which allows the cables to move in as you draw the bow back; thus reducing torque.
