How many bows does this ebay guy have to sell? These warranty posts are getting really old, doesn't anyone know how to use the search function?

I agree. Maybe a statement from Pete or something letting everyone know what is at isn't covered.

I am also irritated a little by the same posts being repeated considering that this has been covered within a day of when I posted it. Keep in mind that People who are new to Elite in general,(like myself) Have no idea the relationship between G5 and Elite. Much less know anything about somebody selling g5 bows online. In my case I already bought the bow before I became a member of this forum. It wasn't until after I bought the bow did I find this forum and I did do a search on this topic but I guess I did not search the right words. I am assuming for legal reasons, Elite is not going to post anything about the subject. That is what we are for. Now I do think There should be a thread at the top of General Discussion For newcomers to see the topic right away.

I have over 16 Elites and have never registered one or been asked for registration number when do warranty work. So, I bet they would be covered as no one would even ask.
That said, I have some moral problems with buying from G5 as it takes business from Elite.

Thought i would go ahead and stir the waters a little. I bought one of these ebay bows. yes i was told by the seller about the warranty and i took a chance. No complaints for about 2 months until i went to up the DW and then i noticed issues. I did not contact Elite and give them my serial # becasue i thought it was a waste of time. I did contact the ebay seller and was told he would take care of it, but i was a little unfortable with that so i had to find a dealer since ther are none in my city. he contacted Elite for me, sent the bow back, 2 weeks later i recieved it back repaired under warranty.
So i am not sure what the deal really is? Maybe the key is going thru a Dealer for warranty?
Would i by another one knowing all that i have read? Probably not. but i have a really gret shooting bow and not sure i will need another one?

    thanks
    Steve
