Default Answer owners...or other elite owners...help with quiver advice

I just ordered an Answer, and I'm going to be outfitting it with a vitalx star trax sight and limbdriver pro-v rest. Anybody out ther with similar rig or who has ever used the star trax? I'm wondering if pro-v or sight will limit my quiver options. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Used a new version StarTrax but had a QAD and a Tight Spot with a G5 mounting bracket but never had any issues. If you've not bought the sight yet let me know. Mines only a couple of months old and only used a couple of times and I'm thinking about selling it.

I've ordered the sight. Why are you selling? I went to a slider last year and loved it, but was not too happy about trying to adjust one early am and not being able to see my tape well. I'm hoping I'll like the sight. I can't find ANY pics of the right side of the sight. Can you mount a quiver onto the sight without it getting in the way of adjusting the sight? Wish I could find some good pics of one on a bow. Thanks for the reply.

I have a couple more if you want. For me there are two reasons or issues. First is personal...it's the horizontal adjustability. If your not careful with this you will actually change your second axis. Second may be functional or I'm an idiot. The below pic shows my pin spacing. Twenty and thirty are on perfectly but forty and fifty are high. My top two pins aren't set Problem is they can't be adjusted down cause of the lower pins. I emailed Ben the main dude seeking some help a couple of weeks ago but have not heard back. Love the concept of the sight though. I'm also overly anal about things so maybe it's just me.

PS...I'm pretty sure it comes with quiver extension brackets but me using a Tight Spot I never worked about it. Make sure they include the sight light that's supposed to come with it. They had some packaging issues early on. Good luck.

It says light not included...going to put an aftermarket push button light on it. I'm thinking that I should be able to set this up 15-25-35-40-45-50 as the arrow starts dropping off pretty good after 35-40 yards, and I won't ever be shooting out to 50 let alone past that distance. I'm now more worried about the limbdriver cable getting in the way of putting on a simple detachable quiver attached to the sight bracket. Oh well. We'll see. The fun of new gear.

Maybe they changed things. When I got mine I had to call to ask some questions about it and one of them was I'd the light was supposed to be included or not and the lady said it was but that they had a new person packaging them up and must have forgot. You're supposed to get some sight tapes too just in case you want it for anything longer than what your pins set for.

The hole where the light screws in is smaller than normal or at least smaller than I was expecting. A standard Tru Glo light wouldn't fit but the HHA blue burst light did and that's a nice light but you have to remove the 2nd axis bolts to put it on.

Let me know when you get it and what you think about it. Good luck.

My Answer is pretty new and I am trying to decide if I should buy an Elite one piece quiver $99.00 or a Tightspot quiver for $119.00. I shoot with the quiver on so the right quiver does matter.

Here I'll save ya money . Get yourself a couple curtain rods , two Tubberware containers , cut one side out of bottom one . A sponge for the top . Piece of rubber for the bottom , and strings for strap's $5.00 bucks at any garage sale and you have a backquiver . I will admit Elite's quivers are of a little better quality though .

I refuse to buy $100 quivers that I take off when once in a tree or blind. So, I've been using Kwikee Kwivers forever. About $35 for a Combo quiver. Works well. They also have shims to get the quiver out from your riser if need be.
