    Default Easton Axis for Answer

I am new to this foum. I just order a new answer with 65lb limbs. I have not received the bow yet just getting everthing together for when it does comes in. I was going to see if anyone could help me out with the right arrow spine for this bow. I was wanting to go with the Easton axis. The bow I ordered is 65lbs limbs with a 29 inch draw. Everthing I have read about the answer is they over tune a little on the poundage. That is why I ordered the 65lb cause I want the maxx poundage at about 67. I like to use a little longer then normal arrow compared to most people so I have always used a 30 inch arrow. I like the Broadhead out past the edge of the riser. I was wondering what spine I need to go with the 340 or the 300. On eastons arrow chart this setup falls right on the edge. If I go down to 66lbs it says 340. If I shot a 29 inch arrow it says 340. But if I go with 67lbs and a 29.5 arrow or a 30 inch arrow it says the 300. Any help or advise on this would be great. Thanks for the help

I have an Answer set up at 29/72 and I'm shooting Axis FMJ at 29 3/4" 300 spine but I'm using a 180gr Broadhead. Like you I want the braodhead out away from my hand/fingers. If you are just using a 100gr head I would bet you could use 340 spine. If you cut your own arrows, you could start out long and always go shorter if need be. You would have to use hot melt for your inserts until you found the proper length and then you could epoxy in the HIT inserts.
