GT500 - Put New Answer Cams on It?

I bought a 2008 GT500 recently and the pull seems much harder than on the newer elite bows. It has 70# limbs and is set up at 29.5" which works OK for me. I took the bow to a local archery shop and he couldn't find anything wrong with it.

A tech suggested I put new Answer cams and new strings and cables on it to get an easier draw. He wasn't sure of the cost, maybe $200. I guess the Answer is built from the GT500 bows and so the new cams can be put on the GT500 limbs.

Does this sound crazy? Anyone tried it?

I have not seen anything on putting Answer cams on one. But I just did a Frankenbow build with the Hunter cams on a 2010 GT500 that I bought with Cuda cams. It has a very smooth draw and through my chrono it was hitting an IBO of 313 at 28.5" draw. It seems to have the same specs as the Answer, and I have Answer strings and cables on it now. Have not shot it with Answer strings and cables, I hope it will do a little better than it did with the old twisted up test cables
