Default 1st trail cam check of the year

And two contenders are showing up. I've been watching this first one the last two seasons and have passed him up due to his age and weak right side but he's really blown up. Even as what a figured was a 1.5 yr old he had great width. Last year I videoed him at 15 yds. He may temp me this year cause he's not shy about coming around. I really wish his right side matched his left but I guess that what makes him unique.

I'm trying to figure out if this is the big ten I've been chasing for three years or not. If so he's got some more growing to do or he's starting to decline. Good news is this pic is only ten yds from where I put my stand and it's about that same distance from where I shot my big buck last year.

I wondered the same thing because each of the last two seasons this goofy racked but has always hung out w/a stud during the pre-season.

I just re-checked my pics...I have the goofy racked buck on the same cam as the second buck but 35 minutes earlier than the pics I have posted above of the second buck...they may be running buddies.

I know the pics kind of stink cause they are so dark, but is anyone willing to venture an opinion on if the second buck is the same one as the pic I'm including on this post? When you zoom on the bodies they have the same big briscket and sagging belly...The pic from last year has a month more growth on it than the new pic, so it's obviously bigger, but the racks look very similar in frame and relative size. Even w/the left side brow being bigger and the G3s being bigger than the G2s. Maybe it's just wishful thinking, cause I've had a hard on for this big ten for the last two seasons. I had him at 22 yds. year before last, but the urge to fight a big half rack ruined it (actually me not taking a 33 yard shot and waiting on the slam dunk 20 yd. shot is what ruined it.)

yes the pics do suck but that last pic you posted is clearly a shooter and I can't wait for you to take me hunting.
