Default I want some input on the Elite Pulse.

I currently have a Bowtech Insanity, and I have been looking at Elite for awhile now. The Pulse sticks out the most to me, mainly cause I like the speed and short brace height. I have not got the chance to shoot it yet, but I might be able to next weekend. Any input from anybody the has shot the pulse and the insanity would be great!!

the pulse is an awesome bow. i like it better than the answer. it is extremely smooth and even though it's a 6 inch brace it is incredibly accurate. It is almost as fast as the judge, with a smoother draw.

I liked everything about the bow but the 6" BH.

I just couldn't shoot it as accuratly as my Invasion. I know there are many factors to that, but I'm going to blame the 6" BH. lol

I recently got to shoot a Pulse and I totally agree. The draw was smoother than my 2008.5 GT500 and it was very forgiving for a short brace. Speed is good, not as fast as the Envy or Judge but a close third and the smoothest draw of the three. Sweet bow and I think you will be pleased. I suspect it would be a good 3D bow as well. I have a Judge and shoot it better than most of my Elites even though it is a 6" brace - go figure.

Thanks for the input guys! I appreciate it. I think I am going to go shoot one next weekend when I go see my dealer. I just might have to get myself an Elite. Has there been any issues with the finish on the limbs? My bow is only 4 months old and it looks horrible!! Also, I read on another forum that the strings on the pulse are not the greatest... Any input on that? Am I gonna have to replace my string and cable as soon as I buy my bow?

The Pulse is one of the few speed bows that I have been able to shoot accurately.
The draw is butter smooth and not harsh for the speed and exceptionally accurate. I don't notice the BH at all.
There isn't any kind of hump in the draw and transitions into the wall very smoothly.
It's a great bow to have in your stable.

After having my Pulse about 5 months, the finish on my limbs developed hairline stress cracks. Just the finish!!! Elite took care of them. As far as the strings, Elite also replaced them. I had alot of shots on them, and they just kept stretching. No worry though, just called Elite and they showed up on my doorstep.

I just sold my Pulse to my son. I thought I would try a different brand this time around. I ordered it (around) the 11th of May, still no bow!!! I should have bought another Pulse!!!

The only thing that was not up to todays standards, was the noise on the shot. Don't get me wrong, its not loud, just not as quiet as some others.

Sounds like I will have to just keep an eye on it and watch for wear.
