I found this pack and it looks pretty neat. Anyone ever tried it?

I am looking at the same one, and the X1 too. The X1 has more room and I am leaning toward that one. L-train uses them, but I am not sure which model he has. Maybe he will pop in and lets us know.

I use the Just One pack, the J104 specifically, as I want to take a load out of meat upon Kill, I can carry my bivy camp and 3 liters of water in a 40 lb setup with this pack.
Glens packs are as high of quialty you can find, he makes some really cool tactical stuff if ya get a chance visit the website.
Ive seen it in the store only, didnt get any practical use. The quality looked to be the same. I dont ever strap my bow to pack so its not a good choice for me.
i have it... let me see if i can find some picks of it... i like it. i typically use it when i hunt a few particular stands down at this river place i hunt at occasionally. i strap my bow in it that way i have my gun hand free. (lots of mean hogs and wild dogs in the area)....i also use it to go to a pasture i hunt that i can't drive to and it's about 2 miles in. the owner thinks i wont hunt my place cause i can't drive to it because he wont fix his roads and the easement doesn't include 4wheelers so i have to hump it in. i also have the J107 which is the bigger version of L-trains j104.. i don't think you can go wrong with an eberlestock pack imho.
I've got the X1 and this last year bought the J104 complete set-up. If you're hunting daytrip type places the X1 is great. For the longer trips and Elk hunting, I like the J104 to pack in a camp or haul out an animal.
Glens packs are tough, and can carry more than most average guys should pick up.
If God had not intended for man to eat meat, we'd only have teeth on the bottom like a cow.

I bought a sligshot, and so far have been very impressed. When it came in I was concerned about how small it was, but I was able to put everything in it that I carried in a much lager pack. I've had it in the field about 4 times now, and am also impressed about how comfortable it is and how well balanced it is.--my 2 cents
I tried it for a hunt, but it was too bulky/awkward for me to use with my climber etc. on the way to my site. I swapped out to a Badlands Superday, and LOVED it. Secured my bow great, and conformed to my shape a lot better, I didn't feel like an bull in a china shop. Still have it, but for multiple day trips I use a G2 pack. Everything I like about the Badlands, cheaper, and twice the space - it gets beatup more than than any of my other packs.
A Kifaru may be on the horizon...
Tried it. Very well made but it wasn't what I wanted. Ended up with a Horn Hunter Mainbeam pack and it's been awesome! Holds way more than the Slingshot, a lot more pockets to help keep organized, carries a bow securely and is surprisingly slim and very comfortable.
