I owned a Synergy but not a Synergy XT. For those of you familiar with the XT, how would you rank it amongst the stable of all Elite bows?

I owned a Synergy but not a Synergy XT. For those of you familiar with the XT, how would you rank it amongst the stable of all Elite bows?

IMO it is the #2 Elite of all time behind the Rev'd E500. From my experiene it is quieter than the Z28 or GT500 but not as quiet as the Answer, has very little vibe and a smooth draw, slightly stiff but smooth. The speed is right there with the Z and GT. The biggest downfall is that the DL runs 5/8" to 3/4" long. Great bow!

I always recommend the Synergy XT when someone is getting their first Elite. To me, it is one of their best all round bows. Slightly slower than the GTO but butter smooth. Much improved over the Synergy. I love the Synergy K8 cams and have used them on many builds. The E500, like it's less attractive cousin the Allegiance is an Elite classic. With K8 cams I have got as high as 333fps with an IBO arrow at 29/70 loaded string. I never thought the E500 was a particularly good looking bow until I had one converted to Ninja and now one of my favorites.

PS - if interested in a 60lb Synergy XT, I have a sweet asat camo one I would sell cheap.

The SynX is the first Elite I owned and still have it. I chose it over a GT-500 when I bought it. Smoother draw and right at the same speed. I later bought a Z28 but then traded it for the GTO I now have. The SynX was almost as smooth as the Z28 which most consider the smoothes draw of all the Elites. I shot the SynX much better then the Z28 and heard so much about the GTO that made me decide to trade for it. The draw is better on the SynX then the GTO but I like them both. The 08 SynX and GTO have to be the sexiest bows that Elite has produced. There is also something magical about shooting the Synx that I can't explain but it's there. The only thing I would change on mine is to swap to 60# limbs if I could find some in Next G1 for it. Getting older LOL

synx is a great bow the biggest down side to it is that the draw lenght runs long. the draw is smooth with good let off and pretty good speed. If you can get one i say buy it.

IMO the Syn X is the best Elite produced of the ones I've owned. Smooth, fast and accurate. The one Elite I don't think I'll depart with. If you are looking into getting one I would go for it.
Imagine if the GTO was available with smooth mods. THAT is the SynXT.
Still my favorite not having shot the Answer yet. But may be a little biased having one in G1, a ninja and winter mothwing. Still have a Judge as well.
