Spring and summer spearfishing has been awesome!

Put the bow away for a few months and pulled out the scub gear. Been breaking in a new Deathstick that Ken Jones made me. Weather has been alright here in Tampa area as well as Sneads Ferry , NC as I got to do a trip that has been blown out a few times the last 2 years. Thanks to Capt. Randy Batts for putting me on my Bucket List hog fish to get me in the 20lb club! Did a few trips out with my buddy Ryan before he moved to Tipton, Indiana and he got a BL black grouper. Hope he finds a few deer up there so I can road trip for my first Indiana whitetail. Here are a few pics to help pass the off season.

nice lobster that big are tough to find! I grew up in s.fla how deep were these critters?

The black grouper were in 150' off Sarasota and the hog /lobster were off Sneads Ferry NC in 100'. The get bigger the further north they get.
