Default New Elite member with a 2012 Pure...Questions??

im a new Elite owner and will have my Pure delivered in just a few days. 2012 blackout model at 60lb. 30 in. Very excited to be part of the Elite family. Ive bowhunted for 25 years and have owned Mathews,Bowtechs,Ross,Rytera in the past...All very nice bows!!
My questions are: Any tricks to tuning the Pure? where does it center shot? What type of strings/cables does Elite use? stretch, creep, issues? Anything to help my tuning process would be great help. look forward to answers from my new family...Thanks, J

First off Welcome!! All Elite bows come with a tech book for tuning. I tune my own and with a drawboard it is very easy. The bows are tuned at the factory, but I like to tweek mine to my specs. You will find everything you'll need in your book and one the Elite spec site. I have been shooting Elite for 5 years now and own 2 now but have owned 8 total. The resale is fantastic and each model is a little different. You can't go wrong with the Pure and I just traded my 70lb for an 80lb because the draw is so smooth that 80 feels like 70 to me. Good luck and know there are alot of good guys on this site with helpful info. Rick

I also shoot 30" draw on a pure. If you call me when your bow arrives, I can help you with arrow selection and tuning techniques.

Elites strings are made by Ninja Strings. So far after 500 or so shots I have had zero problems. No peep rotation & no serving separation.
