Any of you lose power or still without? Seems like a lot of people I work with are still without power from Friday early evening. I walked by a coworker today and caught a wiff and was like: Hey Sanjay, if you need to come to my place and get a shower until they can get your power back on thats okay by me. He says: I never lost power.

And with the temps up to the mid 90s, these storms can really suck. We lost ours Friday for just about 3.5 hours and that felt like forever. I think mainly because worrying about when/if it was gonna come back on.

Ours has been out since Fri. evening. 90+ deg. during the day sucks cause the house gets freakin hot! Been sleeping on a mattress in the basement and keeping the generator running so the fridge and freezer full of 1/4 beef and deer meat don't spoil.

Trying to clean up the mess sucks cause our sub div has a water pump that needs electric to run. Been taking a soap less bath n the neighbors pool.

well, the tree service companies are making a killing I'd bet. The rain we needed bad, the other crap, not so much.

Yeah, we didn't even get much rain out of it. Just 70-80 mph winds.

We had the most amazing lightening I've ever seen Thursday morning. Was like a strobe light continuously for about 35 minutes..with spider web like streaks mixed in..luckily no power outage or damage here..we need the rain tho..very badly!

Our area got whacked pretty good as far as damage and clean up...our neighbors big *** gazebo got blown into our yard and some lawn furniture was hanging from the power lines. But fortunately, the power only flickered a bit...but it caused my DVR to break up a movie into several segments and im kinda pissed about it.

My hunting land got smoked last night. 70+ mph winds for over 20 minutes. Headed up there this weekend to check the damage. A friend who has a lake lot nearby said the cabin and buildings are safe. I have a feeling alot of the woods are down.

I'd give my left nut to be able to record even 1/2 a movie. Day 4 with 90+ degs and no power.
