    Default Answer Speed Question

    Hi guys,
Just got done putting new strings on my bow and think I might be running a little slow but would like oppinionsplease. It was the first time shooting this bow threw crono so have nothing to compare too.
    29'' draw
70.5 lbs (Maxed out after install) -Should this be more?
    speed mods
    433gr arrow
G5 meta peep & loop & factory cable leeches
Shot 4 arrows 285.3 285.3 285.5 285.4, so supper concistant but seems a little on the slow side?
Specs seem to be very very close to bang on.

Thanks for the input, and or suggestions!!

He is using speed mods not smooth so IBO is 340.

To the OP if you have the factory string leaches on which from your post it appears you do, remove them. You will find a few more fps by doing that. The bow was not rated using those and they only became standard after the first few weeks the bow was being sold.

Thanks, will there be much of a differance in noise levels??
Also should I be putting a few more twists in cables and strings to bring up draw wieght?? Seems most guys are getting 72,73 lbs after installing speed mods.

I took the leaches off and picked up 3-4 fps and there was very little difference in the noise level.
The Answer is a very quiet bow with or without the leaches.

Ok will try taking them out and see what happens.

Thanks for info, just started working on my own bows so a little unsure of things! LOL!

I removed the leaches and put cat whiskers on the string and monkey tails on the control cables. I am shooting 70 lbs and 30" DL and a 400 grain arrow is clocking 304 fps. A 350 grain arrow is 320 fps.
