Im the exact same way. I just have stronger feelings towards my pets than I do Humans. Maybe because they need our help.

Blackgreen, Prayers sent for your best friend to mend well, and have a long and healthy life. This hit home when I read it as I'm dealing with my 9 1/2 year old Springer "Bauer". He has given me many years of unconditional love. A great companion on my hunting and fishing trips. He recently suffered a partial facial paralysis, and is having siezures. I took him to a specialist and he is put on siezure meds. He is a fighter already went through hip displacia and has arthritis. You would never know as he always greets me with excitement. I will help him now as much as possible for all the years he was my companion. Good luck Rick
