    Default Hunter or Z28?

Would like some opinions on this please... looking to get another elite. I had a synergy and now shoot a DXT. long story short.. I miss my elite. So looking at getting a hunter or Z28. Bow will be for hunting only and DL is 27 in. Which would you guys recomend? Thanks

08.5 z28 or just get a used hunter out of classifieds, other than the 08.5 Z the new hunters are better bows IMO

Z28 hands down. Hunters are too stiff and have crappy balance and have about the same IBO as the 'o9 Z's.
Probably the earliest flyswatters were nothing more than some sort of striking surface attached to the end of a long stick.

Both bows are great shooters but would also say feel of z is better than hunter.

Buy whichever you can get for the lowest price!!!!! They are all superior bows. All differences are pretty subltle, especially for hunting usage.

I have never had my hands on a Z so I can't comment or compare it to the Hunter. I do, however, have a Hunter and think the world of it. It is a nice bow.

Both are great bows. Shoot both and see which one feels best

So if i go with the Z28 sounds like the 2008.5 is better than the '09 and '10? I see the '08.5 has rev cams and the others Z cams.. besides the '08.5 being faster, whats the main diff in the cams? Is one type smoother than the other? No elite dealers close to me so don't have the chance to shoot the hunter and Z side by side.

The Z cams are smoother than the rev cams. I don't know what the rev's feel like on a Z, but on the GT500 they are still plenty smooth. I would try to find an 08.5 if you can. Not easy to do!
