Proud Father

I was out in the yard doing chores last night and my 7 1/2 year old son was out there with me. We look up and see a turkey parading through the yard at a mere 30 meters. The conversation goes like this:

Me: Dusty, Look! (whispering of course)
Him: Go get your gun and shoot it!!
Me: You can't, its not turkey season.
Him: Well shoot it with your bow.

Now that's a proud father moment if I ever heard one.

I love when they give ya the warm happy daddy feeling. Mine gave me the proud father feeling a few months ago, it was good enough that the wife called me at work to tell me.
