I have (5) of them. Great sight!

    Advice:

Now hang in there. Yes, they are a little time consuming when you start learning how to adjust everything. Once you get used to them, you can adjust things VERY quickly. It's even very easy to add/remove pins or fibers once you get the hang of it. I can break down, and rebuild these sights very fast. Be patient and you'll soon be making adjustments quickly.

I actually PREFER that all adjustments are manual. No knobs that buzz after the shot. I've owned (2) Armourtech Axcel sights.... both had a little buzz after the shot. My Hogg's are DEAD SILENT!

Toughest sight on the market. Set the pins and you could back over a Hogg with a truck and those pins will not move!

    Have fun!

Considering these sights go about $220.00+ brand new, that's over $3,000.00 in sights alone.

Throw that on top of the 7 out of 9 Envy's and 3 SBH Energy's which all have been completely re-dipped or sent to Kolorfusion and then there's the Mojo 3D which was used on Smallville and my Pro 40 and then the sights costs don't really mean that much in the bigger picture. I only have 14 because I sold 6 Elite's in the past 6 months or so and sold the spot hogg's.

Not sure if it is an issue with the newer bows. I posted about this back in 08. But on my GTO's I used the left handed Hogg-It base mounts on my RH bows. This allowed the LH base to be flipped giving more contact with the riser. The RH base can be flipped but places rail lock down bolt facing down. This is a no issue with the Hunter Hogg-Its.

Great sight. Little bit of a learning curve but once you get the hang of it they rock.
