    Default String Help

Without going into details, I have lost confidence in my local shops string vendor.

Who do you all use when ordering strings/cables?

Not that it matters, but they will be going on a 8.5 GT500.

Lots of good ones to use

    Vaportrail
    Bearfoot Archery
    HeartoftheThumb
    60x
    Crackers
    Stage One
    Twisted Archer

Those are just a few that come to mind.

Just had a set made for the same bow by JBK bowstrings. Top quality, great turnaround, and great CS.

Every time I need new strings, I look into all the great builders and some of the awsome prices, but I always end up calling my friend Wes at Stage1 Strings. Not the least expensive, but I always know I am getting the best they can be. All builders basically use the same materials or types of materials, the difference is in how they are put together and served and that they are always the right length. Wes's servings can't be beat and the overall quality is second to none!

I just got a set of stage1 strings from Wes. Very fast turn around time and great quality. You may have to call a couple times to get a hold of him but the product is worth it.

Rick at Bluff Country Bowstrings makes an excellent string. Tight servings, neat end loops, and great CS. Give him a shout....

Stage 1 Strings, I have used a lot of custom string makers and Wes's are the only ones that will go on my bows!
