Great question...once you shoot a 300 then you start looking at x count. soon the x count is not good enough and you miss one in a round for a 299. After contemplating killing yourself, you buckle down and do what every great shooter does...you buy a new bow.

OR you move farther back to say 10 yards and start shooting from there.

Never shoot a 300 if you can avoid it. If you do you have to buy a new bow the next morning so you can say on the next 299 its not quite set up as good as the bow I shot a 300 with.
Ive shot a few 299s and only wish I could use that excuse. Shot a lot of 296 and worse since also. lol.
Nice shooting smeags. Its a slip away from a perfect score. the last arrow is the one...hardest arrow you will ever shoot for that 300.
No ifs and or buts Just maybee.

Yea, that last arrow was one of the 9s. I didn't feel like I was all that excited. It was "just another shot"...but it hit 9. !!??
