Splintered limbs

I was shooting tonight and noticed my bow was louder than normal. Didn't think much about it, until my hand brushed over my limb. I looked and found a 3-4" splinter on the edge of my top limb. Further inspection revealed a similar splinter on the bottom limb. Does anyone have experience with getting new limbs from Elite? My problem is time frame. I have a couple shoots coming up in the next 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 weeks and would love to get this taken care of quickly so I can attend these shoots. Do you know if they will send limbs before receiving mine? Can I choose the camo I want (I currently have black limbs) and what patterns do they have? Does anyone have pictures of a camo riser with snow camo limbs? Thanks.

You have black Im sure they will want to replace them with black.
Yes they will send them but you may be asked for a credit card number incase you dont return your old ones.
Or they find that its a press issue or abuse of some sort. Not saying they were but they have to see them to know. precaution thing.

As Maybee said, Call and talk to Kerrianne. You can buy a set with your credit card and have them shipped out immediately then you can send yours in and once they get em and look em over they can then credit you the amount back on your card.

Same thing happened to my top limb. Got finished shooting one day. Put my bow in the standby. Put my target and all my crap up. When I went to grab my bow off the standby, I felt something stick my hand. On closer inspection, the top limb had a splinter on the top of the limb right next to the edge. I took it back to the shop and they said everything would be taken care of. That was two weeks ago. Haven't heard anything from them yet...........

Elite awesome with customer service. Never seen a manufacture go more out of the way to please customers.
Give them a call. If you got a dealer close use that dealer.

That's how it worked for me when I needed new limbs fast, purchased a set then got credited when they received mine.

I had the same happen to my GTO limbs three weeks ago on a saturday. I called Elite on Monday and had them Thursday afternoon. I got the APG camo limbs on my black riser. It looks pretty cool

I had a goon at the dealer put my bow back together without the rocker in the limb pocket and broke my top limb. They told me to call elite myself since their hours are evenings and they didn't want to play phone tag with Elite, which I thought was kind of BS. Anyway, I called Elite last Monday, Dick rounded me up a set of 80# limbs and called me back on Tuesday... They were at my house on Friday. Seems like when things drag out its because dealers aren't staying on top of things. I know in my area some of these dealers sign off once the sale is made.
