I haven't seen a fawn yet.
I have to wonder if the lack of a mast crop last year affected the breeding.
I've only seen a few pregnant does all spring.

I saw one last week that looked to be only a couple days old. Cute little guy.
Saw one here in MI two weeks ago that was about a week old. I work with a rehabilitator that takes them in and he started seeing several come in that were a week old last week....
They are dropping fawns all over the place in Texas hill country area.
I'm going for a walk in the woods today. Maybe I'll see a couple.
My hunting buddies haven't seen any either.

My buddy in IL called me last night. He pulled the cards from two cameras and had some nice pics but ZERO fawns. We didn't have any fawn pics last year either. That is in north central Illinois, Bureau county.

I've only seen a couple so far. I just about stepped on one yesterday morning when I was marking timber. I usually don't start seeing them on a regular basis for a few weeks until they get bigger and the does start letting them walk around more.
