2011 Elite Pure cable slide question? Help?

I just bought a 2011 Elite Pure (used) last week and am in the process of setting it up. I watched a tuning video on Elite's website and one thing they pointed out was to make sure the cable slide was installed with the longer slot in towards the riser. They said this was for "all" Elite bows but I noticed this video was from 2010. So I looked at my 2011 and it is installed the other way with the short slot in toward the riser (see picture below). It is an aftermarket slide and I am wondering if the original owner installed it backwards? Anybody out there that knows which way is correct on a 2011 Pure? Are the cables possibly criss crossed also? He put a new string and cables on it also and I am wondering if the cables and slide were not put back together properly? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

It should have the long slot forward and the cable toward the riser in the long slot after you change it that way should cross on top.
