Never shoot a Bear
Should be a great week. Was up last week and things were starting to get more active with the breeding. Was worried with the warm Spring of how things would be but up there they seam to be normal. Went with group of 8 and 4 of us took bear. All still had great coats. Only exception was one that looked like it got a buzz cut from the ears forward over it face. Think it may have been caught in a snare.

That sounds fun as long as you are not using dogs. I don't see the sport in dogs treeing a bear and then shooting it out of the tree. Not very sporting if you ask me but I say that with all the respect in the world for those that do. I just wouldn't do it.

Elite Pulse, 29"/67lbs. 380 grain Flatline 340 with a 100 gr Slick Trick Mag. and a Nockturnal lighted nock. Right through and 5" into the dirt at 15 yards, bear went 20 yards.
