    Default Upgrade my E-Forces cams?

I have two identical E-Forces and was wondering if it was possible to send them in and get my cams upgraded to the '08's? Would it work? Would the poundage and draw be messed up? Cost? I probably have more questions I'm not even thinking of right now. Thanks in advance.

I can not speak officially for Elite but in answering another post , I believe that Kevin mentioned they will not sell replacement cams for upgrade purposes. I see there point in that if you could simply upgrade cams each year, sales for new bows would drop dramatically. BowTech won't sell you new cams either.

I think you would need more than just cams. The string cables, and limbs would need to be replaced too.

Not necessarily the limbs but the strings and cables would have to be replaced. If the limb deflection is a little off you could go with more or less preload and probably get it to work. It's a moot question though as you can't get the cams.

I wanted to upgrade because they both have they K8 cams and one has the extra grinds for string clearance but one doesn't. Even with the one that has the extra grinds you can still see that the cables rub a tiny bit. I haven't had trouble with it yet but I would rather not have to worry about it. I wanted to upgrade to either the '07 or '08 cams on both so they would stay identical, one for hunting and one for practice.
Actually I would probably be OK with just sending the one set of cams back to have the extra work done and be re-anodized. I just thought of that. I don't know if they would do that or not. Even then I still prefer the way the sting/cable posts are done on the newer cams much better.
I don't want to just buy new bows for two reasons. First I really don't have the money. Second I think the E-Force has the perfect axle to axle and brace height for me. I'm in a wheelchair and hunt out of a ground blind and these bows are just the right length to clear my armrest on my chair and clear the roof of the blind. If anything I'd rather go shorter than longer.
I got a little long winded there. Thanks for listening.

The 08's will not work...I asked Elite. The 07's will but you really don't gain much unless you have a draw length over 29.5 and need the updated cams to avoid string/cable wear.
