I looked at my map. If 10% or more of the area in the State one lives in is National Forrest or BLM, then one should get a 4 wheel drive. Public land is MY land. I can't get to most of my land on paved roads (except for the lot where I live in the City) on smooth dirt roads. I can get to my land on rocky snowy slippery extremely steep roads that you must drive less than 5 mph. That's about as slow as I can jog or walk fast. With a 4WD in the one of the right States (in my case I'm now retired and in California) an average Joe has a bigger lot to play on than a millionaire on his own ranch. In other words when it comes to real estate, I am better off than Bill Gates is if he does not have a jeep or something like that.

And all I own is an average city lot, nothing else. Except all that free public National forest and BLM that covers 10% of California and 90% of nearby Nevada. And a 4WD truck.

That Raptor will pull that trailer with no problem. By the time you put the big tires on the 3/4 ton, the mileage will be about the same and not near as good looking as the Raptor.

My buddy had a crew cab F250 with a gas engine and he could not get rid of it fast enough. We got stuck in that thing in a puddle.
As long as Ford has fixed the frame bending issue it would be fine to get Raptor.. just google search it you will find a chit ton of pics of Raptors with bent frames.. Yes they look cool but if they havent fixed this issue then they arent worth it!! I talked to a dealer about this at a truck show in Indy and he was avoiding it like the plague.. they know its an issue but wont address it..
