Envy Cam timing/sync

Well, after installing new strings, I noticed my cams are not in time/sync whichever you prefer to call it. Since the Envy cams don't have timing dots, which part of the cam is the best to use as a reference? Also, where should the cams be sitting at rest & under tension? Here are a couple of pics. The string post on the top cam is slightly behind the fork in the limb and the post on the bottom cam is darn near even with the fork of the limb. Where do I start with timing the cams? Thanks for any and all help in advance!!

I use whatever the cable is closest to, might be a hole, the slot whatever. I do not believe in trying to time a bow at brace but it should look the same on both cams. The best way (and this is according to the master Twisted Archer owner of 9 Envys,) he carefully specs string and cables and that is the correct starting position. He also told me that usually this is all the tuning he does, and he has some of the fastest Envys around.
I agree and find one or two twists is usually all it takes to make it perfect.

Cable posts on the other side of the cams is a great way to check for at rest timing. You dont want the cable touching the post at rest. I like to set them off about 1/16th. then sync the cams at full draw with the cables closest to the riser. Use the machine holes for a reference by measuring both side even.

Do you twist/untwist the string at all? I jacked with the cables for over an hour and couldn't get the cams to sync, put a full twist in the string and now they are 1/32-1/64 off, best I could do with my limited knowledge.

Absolutely correct. You always put me in my place. If the cables touch the posts, you will have a loud bow that is out of time.

Yes and I forgot the mods have draw legs on them. Suppose to prevent over drawing but really dont. anyway use those for syncing the cams at full draw. this is only a cable adjustment at this point. try to allow some air like a 1/16 off the cables so you have room for compressing the draw stops rubber ring on the limb when at full draw.
