Sorry to hear of the loss. Pets are an extention of the family. People who don'thave animals will never understand that!

I am struggling with the thought of loosing our 9 year old Lab/Husky mix. She is a great dog and I honestly don't think I will be able to take her to the vet when the time comes. I have a friend who said he would do it for us, but I can't bring myself to let anyone else but myself be the one. Hoping she has many good years left and we don't have to worry.
A whole lotta Elite's in my stable!

Sorry for your loss. I've lost a few dogs over the years and it never gets better. We live by the "puppy breath is a cure all" philosophy.

It was strange..we have three dogs and one of our boxers was sick a couple of months ago..but she snapped out of it..Jakes came quickly...yesterday he would not get up..my husband and neighbor had to carry him out in a sheet..not an easy task to try and get a 140# dog in the car when he wont move..the vet then agreed it was time...
My youngest daughter was a wreck..sobbed and sobbed..I really can't believe its true...that he's really gone....

Very sorry to hear for your loss! Losing a dog is NOT "just like" losing a family member, it IS losing a family member!!

    Hang in there!!
