Default Rest selection fo elite pure & bow tuning tips for a new user?

    HI Guys,

I was shooting for another bow company, but I am giving Elite a go. I love the finish and draw cycle on my pure.

I am getting myself ready for the New South Wales (in Australia) and Australian IFAA titles. I use a drop away rest and I was wondering what rest you use for you bows and do you have any fletch or any issues with it?

Also any bow tuning tips for the pure?

On my new Elite hunter I am using a Limbdriver Pro V. No problems with fletch contact. Reliable and quiet. I do all hunting and back yard target shooting, no 3d or competition.

    Good luck.

I currently use the limb driver pro-v on the Answer, the Pulse has a g5 pro tied the bottom limb but I have another pro-v on the way it is will be out on the Pulse.

No fletch clearance issues at all. I only hunt and do back yard shooting. Someday maybe some 3d.

I use a trophy taker smackdown on my z and a Limbdriver pro on the pure. I have had the best luck with limb driven dropaways with these bows.

I also have a limb driver pro on my Pure. No issues with clearance.

QAD HDX is the best I've used since switching from the Limbdriver Pro. Its accurate and works great in hunting situatons.

If you want to use a drop away for IFAA, I would suggest an "original" LimbDriver with the target blade option installed. I noticed others suggested a "hunting" type drop away, I feel you would be much happier with a target style drop away for your competition.JMO

Are the regular limbdrivers with blades fast enough?

i was also considering a Spot Hogg Infinity.

I am using a G5 Expert Pro on my Pure and after 1000's of shots have never had an issue with it. Also, my Pure is a 2011 model and I changed out the cable rod to the bent one from Elite. It seemed to help a little with bow torque at full draw and I believe I am shooting better with it. I just ordered the new rod and slide that Matt at Bearfoot has designed and am hoping it will help even a little more.
