    Default String Splitter peep

Since I had a little trouble with low light shots and a 3/16" meta peep last year, I got one of the String Splitter peeps to try.
Anyone have any experience with them?? Are they any good?

You'll also want the string aligner they make. Even the mini string splitter is huuge. Really twists the string around. Loved the idea but I think they need to make an even smaller one.

Try a 5/16 meta peep would be my advice.

I have used string splitter but went back to meta peep. string splitter would always twist and its noisy. I never coould get the peep to line up just right so i ditched it!

I love my predator peep sight as it let's more light in than a meta peep at least in my opinion.

    I shot it this afternoon.
I'm not having any peep rotation problems at all. It comes straight back just great.
Maybe because I tied the serving in opposite directions????????
Top against the twist of the string and bottom with the twist of the string. IDK.
I will say, there is a ton of sight picture. Low light should not be a problem for hunting season.
I still need to get settled on how to align the curve with the sight ring,
but it proved to work pretty well.
I don't know if it will be as accurate for a target set up, but for hunting it may be my answer.
I bought the 3/16" micro version that weighs 10.5 grains. It fits the 1 5/8" sight ring on the HAA perfectly.

    I think it's a keeper.
25 yard groups are 1 inch.
I'll shoot some 40 yard groups later.
