    Default Coin help!!

I just got my Envy back from being powder coated black today, it looks great except the coin, appears the guy forgot to tape it off and painted it, he took some kind of wire brush or something to clean it up but it looks like crap!! How do you remove the coin and where can I get a new one? Thanks!!

I think you can buy one directly through Elite. The one that goes on the quiver will fit in the riser as well.

You can order one for the quivers so you get the circle one, but when I ordered mine Kerrianne told me they only had the new logo. If i can figure out how to safely remove one im going to swap mine to new logo

I have removed them using heat from a blowtorch and then hitting it at an angle with a punch. A sharp rap usually will pop it right off, usually without damaging it. In the past I drilled it off using a drill press. Somehow the torque of the drilling pops it off. If not, after making a hole about 1/4" to the riser, you can use a punch to hit it at an angle.
The heat and punch method should work without hurting it though.

Speaking of riser coins, I have a silver coin with old logo. If someone has a bronze coin, new or old logo, that they would want to trade, please PM me.

Thanks, gonna have to try the heat method, don't want to ruin it, just need to get it off to try and clean it!!

I'd try dry ice before a blowtorch if you can find some in your area. Not opposed to using heat though, torch or heat gun, just have used dry ice on mastics/glues with good results. Never tried a riser coin though. Also in auto parts store may be able to find "Freeze Off" designed to freeze of stuck nuts. No experience with the can stuff but a few freinds like it.
