I cant get lucky enough to hit the 30 inch speed mod timing I guess. I have never even seen any. Ever....I will though soon Im told.

If smash will allow a highjack, what is your opinion on the 30" Answer speed mods on a 6" bh bow at say 35-ish ATA...... Do you think they can be stretched back to a full 30" even giving up an inch of brace?? I'm banking on being able to do it, and I don't think it will be a big issue since we are gaining so much ATA over the Answer. I know I have an 8" BH project bow thats still waiting to be finished with number 7(27" on 7"BH GT500) rev mods and I have it down to 27" without sacrificing feel, the ATA is 32-ish.

Usually it shortens the DL. But I honestly think you can gain at least half an inch with the speed mods. Id like to have the actual 30 inchers first. I know I can reach a half with the 27s. it was natural with Irishes.

If they can gain a half inch, I'm sure it'll be good. The added ATA and longer harness length that comes with the Judge geometry over the Answer should easily give me the other 1/2" to get back the whole inch lost to BH, Id guess. With this dang thread going today I am getting some renewed excitement for this project!! Should be a fun one!

Oh, and Smash, for starting this thread and re-motivating me on this upcoming project, and in recognition of your delusion that you named the Judge, we can call this thing the Smash when it's done, lol.
